Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Region/G.I.: Southern NSW, Canberra District
Vintage: 2014
Alcohol: 12.5%
Colour: Bright pink to red
Bouquet: Wild strawberry and some creamy aromas
Flavour: Taste according to the nose. A touch of bubbles/sparkles on the front of the tongue and nice acidity. The smallest amount of sugar remains. Perfect for a hot summer evening.
Points: 86 (4+7+11+7+7+50)
Notes: I guess big scoring for a rose but to be frank, in comparison to sweet syrupy rose, this has a lot going for it. It's done very well. Bought at the cellar door last year for $15 ~ 280 Kc. I've previously tried wine from this producer without realising it.
