General: From my brother's collectionVariety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Region/G.I.: Limestone Coast, Coonawarra
Alcohol: 14.2%
Bouquet: The nose is nuanced and gentle. Some brambly notes and feint fruit with the smallest hint of wood.
Flavour: In taste, it was very long and complex with a dry mouth feel. There is savoury spice, blueberry and mulberry. The tannins, gentle as silk, linger on.
Points: 90
sounds excellent! there u can see what aging does to your wine!! and look at the cork sealing, quite unusual in Australia now, hm??
ReplyDeleteYeah - I have a soft spot for the aged red stuff:-). Not much under cork in the "regular" price ranage but I am sure to have a few for your tasting!
