Variety: Shiraz
Region: Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
Vintage: 2007
Closure: Cork
Alcohol: 14.5%
Colour: ruby
Bouquet: forest floor, dehydrated plum and a hint of Christmas spice
Flavour: Plum, white pepper and some tannin, each still distinct. Nice length.
Points: 2nd in our aged Shiraz tasting with average 87.8. I rated it 85 (3+7+11+7+7+50)
Notes: This was the third wine tasted and was overshadowed by the previous two. Also, these wines developed on opening so it was a pity for us to finish them. Bought for $28~500Kc in 2011 and shared with my friend when he visited in 2012
