Variety: Shiraz
Region/G.I.: Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
Vintage: 2013
Closure: Screwcap
Colour: Purple with slightly purple hue
Alcohol: 14.0%
Bouquet: Plummy nose, like thick, plum paste (povidla)
Flavour: Fruit according to the nose, sticking to the mouth and almost liquorice like, with strong cedar flavours as part of milder, round tannins. A lot of body and unusual for Shiraz
Points: 85 (3+7+11+7+7+50)
Notes: A $20~360Kc wine, which was won last week at a work function. I'm a fan of this fuller bodied style of Shiraz
